About PipelineRoad

Capital raising infrastructure for emerging managers

The fundraising process for emerging managers is broken. The tools are fragmented, the data is stale, and the gatekeepers charge too much. We built the infrastructure to fix it.

The Problem

Capital raising is still a manual, relationship-gated process

Emerging fund managers face a structural disadvantage. First-time funds take an average of 17.5 months to raise, according to PitchBook. The average PE fundraise takes 26 months. Most of that time is spent on manual research, cold outreach, and chasing meetings with mismatched investors.

The tools that exist today weren't designed for the emerging manager reality: smaller teams, tighter budgets, and less established networks. LP databases give you names without context. CRMs track activity but don't source opportunities. Placement agents charge 1.5-2.5% of capital raised and prioritize larger mandates.

We built PipelineRoad to close that gap. AI-powered investor matching, managed outreach, and a dedicated capital raising partner for managers who need results, not more software to configure.

A Letter from the Founders
We built PipelineRoad because the fundraising process shouldn't be a privilege.

Between us, we've worked with dozens of B2B companies across SaaS, fintech, and venture capital. We've sat in boardrooms, built growth teams from scratch, run revenue operations for venture-backed startups, and seen firsthand how capital flows to those with the right connections rather than the best ideas.

The fundraising industry has a structural problem. The best LP databases cost $50K+ per year. Placement agents won't touch you below $200M. And the emerging managers who actually need institutional capital the most are left cold-emailing into the void with outdated lists and generic pitch decks.

We started PipelineRoad because we believe investor access should be a function of fund quality, not network size. That thesis-matched introductions should happen in days, not months. That a first-time fund manager in Austin should have the same shot at CalPERS as a third-generation GP on Park Avenue.

So we built the infrastructure: 30+ data sources aggregated and cross-referenced, AI that understands allocation patterns and deployment timing, and a managed service that runs outreach under your brand while you focus on building your portfolio.

This is what we work on every day. We're not observers of the capital raising process. We're in the trenches with our clients, sending the emails, booking the meetings, closing the allocations. If that resonates, we'd love to work with you.

Our Approach

Not a database. Not a placement agent. A capital raising partner.

Most fundraising tools give you a list of names and leave you to figure out the rest. Placement agents take over the process entirely but charge 2-3% of capital raised and won't work with funds under $200M.

PipelineRoad sits in between. We combine AI-driven investor intelligence with a managed service layer. You keep control of the relationship. We handle the research, targeting, outreach, and follow-up infrastructure that makes those relationships possible.

Starting at $5K/month + 1% success fee. No retainer minimums. No fund size requirements.
